Focusing on fun but wearable looks with entirely Gluten Free Makeup.
I love the holiday season. I love the decorations, the food, the local events and of course, the parties! Even after going gluten free, Christmas parties are still fun. We just come armed with our own gluten free snacks and of course decked out in our own gluten free makeup.
In my opinion, there’s no such thing as too many different kinds of Christmas party looks. So yes, here is another one for your enjoyment!
Prep your face with your favorite foundation, preferably one with really good coverage. This is, after all, a party look. 😉
- Pat Monave’s Versatile Mineral Powder in Silver #1 all over your lid. Using a brush, gently pat it into the inner corner of your eye, bringing it under the inner third of your eye.
- With Monave’s #15 from the new Winter Shades apply a v shape to your outer lid and crease.
- With Everyday Mineral’s I Do Declare, trace over the #15 powder. This step is part, but we did it because it create a rich, deep, complex shade. These two colors together are truly stunning. Not something I’ve seen quite like this in the gluten free makeup world. Also you might want to refresh the silver in the corner of your eye.
- For the finishing touches: Take Red Apple Lipstick’s Golden Girl and pat it over the inner corner very lightly. This warms up the silver and adds a gorgeous, unique Holiday glimmer to the look. Line the outer third of both top and bottom lash lines. And finally, clean up under your brow and finalize the shape of the crease shadow with a neutral, skin toned eyeshadow.
Finish off the look with mascara, nude lipgloss and a light brushing of color for your cheekbones. How much color is going to be up to your skin tone, but this look does need a light dusting of it to keep your face from being washed out by the strong eye makeup.
And you’re done!
